PADI Tec courses

If you are ready to transition from recreational to technical diving then you will need to complete technical diving courses. We offer the full PADI Tec Diver program during which you will practice full technical deep decompression diving.

To enrol in any of the Tec courses you have to be at least 18 years old and bring a medical certificate signed by your physician in the past 12 months.

Tec 40

Prerequisites: PADI AOWD certification (or equivalent), PADI Enriched Air Diver  certification (or equivalent), at least 30 logged dives with a minimum of 10 dives to 30 meters / 100 feet (or a PADI Deep Diver  certification / equivalent from a different diving association) and another 10 dives using enriched air deeper than 18 meters / 60 feet

Duration:

Description: You will gain experience and knowledge for technical diving. With this certification you are qualified to make limited decompression dives to 40 meters / 130 feet.

Further education: Rescue Diver, Tec 45

Tec 45

Prerequisites: PADI Tec 40 certification (or equivalent), PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent), at least 50 logged dives, with at least 12 dives on enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 meters / 60 feet and 6 dives deeper than 30 meters / 100 feet.

Duration:

Description: This is the second part of the program in which you will extend your depth limit to 45 meters / 145 feet. You’ll learn to plan and complete repetitive decompression dives using a single stage. You will also make accelerated decompression dives using EANx or pure oxygen.

Further education: Tec 50

Tec 50

Prerequisites: PADI Tec 45 certification (or equivalent), at least 100 logged dives, with at least 20 being on enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 meters / 60 feet and 15 dives deeper than 30 meters / 100 feet.

Duration:

Description: This is the third part of the program in which you will extend your depth limit to 50 meters / 165 feet. You will learn how to make extended, accelerated decompression stops using two stages. This certification opens the door to deeper diving expeditions.
